I once heard that the economic status of a place could be judged by the number of cranes. Interesting, considering that Brum is skint. But this is supposed to be about photography - and I love the interplay of contrasts between both dark and light and modern against Victorian.
And I nearly missed it .......... Green lights all the way!

A good record of the rebirth of part of Birmingham.
I like that the v shape of the crane jibs is mirrored by the silhouetted person in the foreground.
