Corinthian Columns
by Flan
Sadly no longer occupied by the Fransican Friars in Limerick city.
The building still retains a strong connection with the people.
i was hoping at the time for a lone figure of interest to pass between the columns but every time the road just filled up with cars as it is a very busy junction just a few yards ahead.

People or no people, it's impressive.

Low POV impresses the eye, especially given the upward thrusting of the pillars. I can only imagine how, over the years, the friars felt a good measure of pride living in such an iconic building. Like.

An impressive structure asking to be photographed. Door and entrance stand out as well.

Thanks for viewing and the comments everyone.
As the exif showed it was new years day ay 14. 47 pm 2021, so the older much maligned 16 50mm held up great at f2.8 but the shutter speed of 125th would not have froze a person walking between the columns.
Should have trusted the higher iso instead of base 100 iso but old habits die hard
