Coloured Pencils on the March

First of a series of three. This is the "base" image. The second and third posts will show Photoshop manipulations. I had to use every coloured pencil in my kit to capture this one.

Giulio: I found a box of the right size, and loaded every pencil I owned into it. The idea was to "contain" the pencils so they didn't roll all over the place. Tomorrow I will post a digital art version of this image transformed in Photoshop>Filters>Distort>Wave. The following day, using a "Spherical" filter. All this is fun!!!
