I imagine when the tides in there will be creeks full of water nearby. I love the scene and the feeling of wilderness.

I can't remember 100% how far this boat was from the sea, Dungeness is a weird place with weird things going on, so potentially the boat could have be dragged to where it is for accommodation.
The main fleet on boats are on the shingle beach 1/4 of a mile away and pulleyed in and out of the water.
