Austin Seven 'Chummy' - In all it's Glory

by MikeInDevon

And still on the road, seen parked on Fore Street in Bovey Tracey in September 2023

Known as an Austin Seven 'Chummy', as it's a rather cosy 4 seater! This model dates from the 1920's, note the rather neat water temperature indicator!

Pentax ME Super body and SMC Pentax-M 1:1.4 50mm lens. Nice camera, nice lens!

Ilford HP5+ processed and scanned by Analogue Wonderland. Slight crop using DxO.

Nice shot of a beautiful old car.

Given the starter handle visible, the number plate could do with an extra letter 'i' adding!

Someone's pride and joy, and rightly so. Very neat and crisp B&W of it.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

It really is a beautiful looking car and the photo does it justice.

It's Devon on the flanks of Dartmoor, it will rain!

The car looked great, someone's looking after it very well, it was like new.

I'm enjoying the foray back into film, I may even try developing again.

Cheers
Mike
