Arcapita Bank HQ, Manama

Arcapita Bank HQ, Manama

Photo Information
This monochrome image shows the Arcapita Bank HQ in Manama. The building comprises a rectilinear volume seated on sculptural plinth resembling rolling waves. Seen from this front elevation, the building is quite imposing. The tower on the right of the image is the minaret of the mosque in the bank HQ grounds. This is a stack of five frames taken at ISO400 using my Pentax K-1 with the surprisingly good Samyang 14mm f/2.8 lens. The aperture was f/11 giving an exposure of 1/160s. Each frame was developed from RAW using DxO PhotoLab 2 before being average-stacked using Affinity Photo. The resulting image was stylised using ON1 Photo RAW 2019 (Beta) before final unwanted artefact removal, geometric correction and monochrome conversion with Affinity Photo.
