WG 5 GPS

Ricoh has announced the rugged WG-5 GPS, the latest addition to the WG family.

The WG-5 has a shockproof rating of 2.2m, is waterproof to 14m and freezeproof to -10 degrees centigrade. It's also crushproof to a force of 100kg.

The camera is equipped with a 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and a 25-100mm equivalent optical zoom lens as well as GPS. It has a 3 inch screen which has a wider 16:9 format than its predecessors. This model also has expanded interval shooting options and a new underwater flash off and flash on mode which takes an image with flash and one without in just one shutter press.

The WG-5 GPS is set to be available in March with an RRP of £259.99.

Is it anything like pulled pork?

If it is then I'll have some with my tea ( a large urn of tea, so I can test a WG-5 in it! )
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)
