If you want a quick sale with no come-back then this is probably a good way to go, but bear in mind that MPB like other dealers all need to add a decent mark-up so will offer rather less than if you can wait longer. The same applies if you trade in for new gear with any of the dealers. My very limited experience of eBay is that Pentax stuff sells slowly and on top of which is the commission plus postage. One dealer did offer to sell on commission (20%) as a means of getting a better price than offered at trade-in and you get their marketing so for higher value items is another option.

What are the "fantastic offers" for Pentax User members?
Just looks like an advert for MPB to me. Am I missing something?

P.S. I've used MPB in the past, with no complaints.

I asked them how much to part exchange my KP for a K1, what did they offer me?.............£250! I told them to get lost

I wanted to trade in a Pentax K30 and a Nikon D5100. Insulting offer. WIll not go there again.

Nothing about a special offer to PU members, unless paying for PU membership opens something up....

Mind you, the offer I got for my macro lens was low, but since there is no demand for the lens on this forum, or TP or on Facebook. It's a buyer's market I'm afraid.

Otherwise no complaints - they do pay quickly and you don't have to pay for postage. Once the item leaves your doorstep and as long as MPB's valuation matches yours, there is nothing to worry about.

Bought a camera second hand which had a part missing. Took weeks to get them to agree to do something about it.

Not use them again.
