Pentax '100 years' mug

It woud seem that Pentax fans in Japan get all of the cool things with the introduction of 'Pentax 100 Years Of History' mugs and Pentax-branded lens wraps.

The mugs are, actually, rather eye-catching with their simple but bold designs in either black or white while the lens/camera wraps are, well, practical.

Two versions of the wrap are available to accomodate different sized cameras/lenses and are priced at 3500/4500 yen while the mugs have an RRP of 1500 yen.

I take it that David' Storm's photo is included with the intention of representing a Storm in a tea cup! Not sure how the others fit in.

I would really prefer to see some new Pentax cameras rather than mugs, it's so long since we have seen anything significantly new. I am rather worried that we are near the end of Pentax as a brand, some of the 3rd party lens manufacturers seem to be doing less with Pentax fittings now and I have to say that the Fuji and Sony cameras are just looking better and better. I still love my trusty K20 although something lighter and smaller would certainly be welcome.
