Pentax has launched its fourth lens in the Unique lens series for Pentax Q cameras.

Pentax Ricoh Imaging UK Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of the Pentax-07 Mount Shield Lens. This affordably priced, interchangeable lens produces a unique visual effect when mounted on a Pentax Q-mount camera body.
The Pentax-07 Mount Shield Lens is the fourth model in the Unique-Lens series and features an angle of view equivalent to 53.0mm in the 35mm format when mounted on the Pentax Q7 body (or 63.5mm on the Pentax Q or Q10 camera body). This lens offers a distinctive image, with a unique blur effect along the edges of the image field.
Measuring a mere 6.9mm in length, the lens is thin and compact, allowing users to take it anywhere. It mounts easily onto the camera body just like a lens cap, making it the perfect choice for everyday photography.
The Pentax-07 Mount Shield Lens will be available from September 2013. The price is yet to be confirmed.
