Somewhere else.
.... or introduced myself. My names Charlotte and I live in the Creuse, France.
I started taking photographs about two years ago when I volunteered to do Butterfly and insect surveys for French National Natural History Museum (it sounds grander than it actually is
I borrowed hubby's kodak easy share but ended up having to use it with the help of a magnifying glass otherwise the insects were too small to see.
Hubby very kindly bought me a Fuji Finepix s1500 point and shoot which was much better ........................ but then I really got into the photography for pleasure rather than just for identification so in March this year I got my Pentax K-r.
I think I read every thread on this Forum before I actually joined which has helped me actually take pictures with this camera because I have never used a 'proper' camera before and don't really know what is what. (I had to google DOF to find out what it stood for.
So thanks to all of you for the informative topics and for your kind comments and patience with my pictures.
I do go on a bit sometimes - so I'll shut up now - and I'm sorry if you thought I was rude.
Best wishes
Charlotte
