Here are 3 of my fav's from my trip to Woburn on Friday.

You can view the rest of the set here.

This was my first proper time out with the DAL 55-300, I'm very happy with it.

A lovely set there, love the first image, very nice indeed. Just got this lens myself very impressed so far.

Lovely photos. My favourites are on your website - #s 10 and 43, though I do like the b/w giraffes above too.

Agree on #10. And I'd like to add #24 to the list. Shame the little fella in #35 has turned right away. That could have been the pick of them IMO
And #52 is funny, unless you are the owner of that car, which is probably now missing a rear windscreen wiper.

No. 3 is absolutely superb! I'd crop a little off either side to make it a regular aspect crop.

Thanks for the comments!

We got lucky with the weather on the day, driving up it went from blue skies to dark and looked like rain was threatening, luckily it didn't rain and stayed nice and light.

It's a good park, even better with Tesco clubcard vouchers giving us free entry

I think 2 is my personal fav, the lions were such posers.

Dhumpy, I got it off an ebay shop, I'd imagine it's a grey import, but still, for the price it's an excellent lens.

I really like the first image, and the giraffes are excellent. I agree about the crop though. The monkey inspecting the other one's posterior had me laughing...

Agreed. Fantastic shot. I'd also crop the bottom so you can't see the overlap of necks... The little section of the lower neck of the rear giraffe is annoying me.

btw - I love giraffes. If I had high enough ceilings I'd have one as a pet.

Those giraffes are just wonderful. MUST be a marketableb shot, if you care about such things...
Best wishes,

Andrew

No, hadn't given it any thought tbh, I did think it would look nice on canvas on a wall though.

Thanks for all the comments everyone, I've edited the Giraffe picture due to popular demand!

Do we prefer this at 6x4?

Nice set, some great ones in your gallery. I visited Woburn a couple of years ago, well worth the trip. They accept Tesco vouchers for the entrance charges too, always nice to save £60!

It sure is, though we forgot to pack a lunch, so got stung with the cafe charges!

It didn't feel so bad though as we didn't pay to get in

Oh forgetting lunch isn't so bad, when we went I forgot to pack the buggy, so when our then-2-year old wanted his (2 hour!) lunchtime nap we had to stand around the car waiting for him
