I would be interested to know from owners how well the 'older' Pentax prime lenses perform on the K1,
For example the

pentax A 20mm
pentax FA 24mm
Pentax FA 28mm

If you have links to related information, that would also be helpful

Many thanks

I've not yet tried my FA28 but the pictures I have taken at my typical settings with the FA20 (same optics as A20) and FA24 I have been more than satisfied with. Nb. I haven't bothered peering in the corners at 100% of large aperture shots. However I have found the corners on my wide angle zooms struggle.

There is a site with images taken on a K-1 with FA and later series lenses. Most of the comments are Japanese so you may have to see if a Google translation helps.

If you want a couple of files PM me and I'll see what I can do.

So far all A, F and FA-lenses I have have exceeded my expectations. Those where tempered somewhat by not knowing what to expect from older lenses on a high resolution digital camera but the ones I’ve tried have all been excellent. I have the FA 28 (and the A and F versions), it has been on but I don’t have any shots at hand to show you. If I make some later this week, I will share them.

Thank you for the comments.
The information was most useful and I found the Ricoh K1 site very helpful.
