Whitby Steam Punk

Went yesterday as never bean to just a steam punk event at Whitby. The weather was impressive to say the least. Sea activity at high tide was a show stopper with waves crashing over breakwaters.

Used a couple of cameras. These from a K1 with 77mm and ring flash.

What LennyBloke says and then some. What I find so fascinating is the imagination that goes into the outfits. My late wife loved these kind of images as do I.

Terrific series and that last mono image tops it off nicely.

A wonderful, well composed set of images and some great characters too. That must have been a great day out.

The steam punks seam to outnumber the Goths at Whitby joint events these days.

I'm nearly certain your second gentleman with the pipe is Stephen Bell from my old camera club
