I plan to set out about 4am, so should be over there for about 7:30 - 8 am.(Hopefully)

You will be showing us your shots of the sun rising between the piers then???

Nope, having found a parking place, I'll be asleep in the car!
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

I intend to have mine around 9am, tnen have a lesuirely drive up the east cost, all that of course depends on whether we visit the pub/hotel a few yards down from our B&B, after five pints of "Nightmare" I may not wake up in time for breakfast and will be ringing Graham around 12noon to find out where you all are

I only said PLAN to set out at that time. It could well be 12 before I leave

But, to be honest, I can't stand searching for parking spaces. I'd rather arrive early than spend hours driving around. If I'm there by 9 I'll be happy.

Just checked on the photographers Ephemeris for Whitby, looks like sunrise between the pilers is out but sunrise behind the abbey through the whale bone arch is in Sun up at 8:00.

The weather forecast is good! Saturday seems sunny and some cloud (sunny spells) on Sunday.

Make the most of it. I'll be there is spirit.

There's a local do on over here for Halloween, just got to see if they will let me in?????

Best regards
