A sandisk 64GB extreme pro read/write 95/90. Wanted to see if it would improve the buffer usage on the KP. Upped the number of frames to 20 in 10 seconds from 17 on my previous fastest write cards and reduced the clear time to about 15secs from 17secs. Plus the frame rate is pretty constant when the buffer is full unlike the others which caused a bit of variability.

A pair of gardening gloves...Wyevale £5.00

Yes I know it's not photo-related, but my K-1 is still at the repairers.

Now waiting for my 4th (and hopefully not "counting"!) replacement wireless router in an attempt to replace the old one which seemed to have failed - Couldn't even log into the 1st one, 2nd one was too big for the available space (was bigger than it looked "onscreen") and the 3rd one has locked up twice in the week since it arrived and is going back tomorrow. In the meantime, had to go back to the old one which now seems to be working again (at least for the moment) !
K-3 II, K-3 and K-30 (now running the Hacked K-50 f/w, so it thinks it is one of those ), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!) - and now a K-70 from SRS

Update: 4th router now arrived, installed and set up (getting "good" at this - done it so many times recently ) - wonder how long THIS one will last?

I got a K1 - and I'm loving it - but they are old hat now!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Yeah hard to believe the K-1 was released 3 years ago now. Congrats all the same though, it's a beast of a camera!

SIGMA EX Aspherical 17-35mm f2.8-4 Don't see that many in Pentax mount. Will see how it compares to my Pentax FAJ 18-35.

The new HD-FA 35mm f2.0, see separate thread here somewhere. Who knows what I will bring back from The Photography Show, it certainly won't be anything Pentax as they have bailed out. Unfortunately Leica won't be there either as I am keen on the D-Lux 7 due next month.

Are Panasonic there? On account of as how the D-Lux 7 is, according to DPR, "nearly identical to Panasonic's Lumix DC-LX100 II"...
SteveH!

Some people call me 'strange'.
I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.
