My latest photo-related acquisitions are:
K1 Mk iii + Grip
Epson V600 Slide/Negative scanner.
The camera got a good work-out in Germany & Prague during October, the scanner is still in its box, pending a re-fit of my office in a couple of weeks to give me more room - around a thousand slides to scan and I don't know how many negatives. Definitely a winter project,

That should, of course, read K1 Mk ii.

I'd be interested to hear about your thoughts on the Epson V600 in due course.

Pentax KP was undecided about the K3iii Too expensive & a fixed rear screen. K1ii Full frame would have to replace lenses. So went for a KP. Glad I did an excellent camera in as new condition with a shutter count of 1900. The previous owner can barely taken it out of the case.

The KP is a severely underrated camera. I love mine.
My latest purchases have been a bit of a mixed bag. I bought an M42 Takumar 20mm lens which came with loads of fine coating scratches so needed to be sent back.
Ricoh GRIII bought from MPB as 'spares/repair' where I asked whether I could try out a few things to revive it - none of these worked unfortunately.
Before these I bought the 16-85 and 24-70 lenses. The 24-70 was hugely impressive while the 16-85 might have a bit of a decentering issue.. unfortunately a few edges of my brother's wedding images are a bit blurry.
I've then bought a few cameras that have aperture solenoid faults. They should be an easy fix.
The last is a little bit of a cheeky purchase. I've bought the A 100mm f/2.8 Macro. Brilliant lens which I'm hoping to keep until Pentax release their SLR cameras. I have the older D-FA WR version so this is more of a luxury purchase.

I got a Tamron 70-210mm f/4, which is the same as the Pentax version, but in EF mount to use on my Lumix S5 (with adapter) and should also work on the old EOS film SLRs I have too.

Another EF lens I'm afraid - a 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5. Someone over on the US forum posted some film photos taken with one and I got it for a good price. If it's OK I think I'll sell the crappy 28-90mm kit zoom and probably the Sigma 24/2.8 too as I never use it.

Pentax 67 to K adapter - to give my SMC Takumar 105mm f2.4 a bit of a work out before it sells!
I was convinced I had one of these adapters around somewhere, but after ransacking the house (twice) I finally caved in and bought one, I bet I'll find it now

An upgrade to ACDsee Ultimate 2024. I would not have bothered 2022 was working fine, but it won't read Fuji's raw files from the X-T5.
Pentax have a definite advantage being able to choose recording files as .DNG

This morning a K 24mm f/2.8 popped up locally so I decided to grab it as I've wanted a genuine Pentax 24mm for years but never managed to get one for anything approaching a decent price. I'd probably have preferred the f/3.5 version, which I've heard is better, but that one's far less common.
Should be here next week some time.
