What's your latest acquisition?
I had a look through the menus and found out that the previous owner's name was still stored in the copyright information section. After a quick google search I realised the camera had belonged to a photographer based in London. I messaged them about the camera to make sure it wasn't a stolen part and thankfully they explained that it may have been one of two K-1s that they once owned. One of them was sold while the other was replaced by insurance.
I suppose a bunch of these eBay sellers just come across random equipment from insurance joblots and sell to make a decent bit of money.
In any case, I'm happy with the purchase so far. I think it might need an AF adjustment so I'm looking into that.
All the gear with no idea
HD DA 35mm F2.8 Macro Ltd. My first macro lens.
My copy is the SMC but it's my favourite lens ever, just superb.
I've recently received a Ricoh Rikenon XR 35/2.8 in mint condition. It's lovely to use and initial testing shows it's pretty sharp even wide open.
And just this morning I picked up an A 24-50mm f/4. It's not in quite such good shape, a bit of wear & tear and the focusing isn't as smooth as it could be - if anyone knows if that's easy to correct then please let me know. Probably just a bit of a re-lube needed, a don't think it's the result of a knock. Not super sharp wide open but I got it mainly for film use so that's not a big problem. It's also more compact than I had expected. It's one of those weird lenses where at one end of the focusing range the aperture is clearly not fully open and hence the aperture hole is not round, while at the other end the aperture blades open more to give a fully-rounder aperture.
I'm expecting a third Nikon F801S in the next few days to add to my collection of AF film cameras with high maximum shutter speeds, which I'm finding handy and enjoyable these days.

Not this time Lennybloke, couldn't justify that sort of expense for a lens I don't envisage using much, time will tell thou

Can't play with it for 3 days as its in isolation. My buddy who owns it has Covid and we exchanged carrier bags on his doorstep when I dropped down some vitamins and other stuff to him to help aid some of the Covid symptoms.
By the time it passes quarantine and I can anti-bac it and polish it up, my films will be here I ordered I can shoot a roll through it.

Very nice. Hope it doesn't have the mirror return cog problem.
