Sort of Pentax related, a new flat roof, new platering to ceiling, new paint and a new computer desk on the way. Pentax related in that my computer room can get back to normal after a leaking roof just narrowly missed making a drama into a mega-crisis.

At the moment the dining room table is hosting my PC needs!
Best regards, John

Thanks to Lennybloke, my K50/1.2 now has the correct lens hood.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

All I need now is the lens to go with the filters...

Very nice set of 43mm Pentax filters in a wallet. They are for the drop-in filter holder on lenses like the F* 250-600mm lens. One of these... (as seen at Focus on Imaging, March 2011).

Sadly, I don't have one so I don't have much use for them!

Only 9 years... Its the only time I've seen a 250-600 in the flesh, so to speak.

Lennybloke has been at it again. I now have one more lens in my collection of K-series primes: the 35mm f/2. The following snaps are 5K: the K35/2 on a K2DMD taken using a K-3 and the K50/4 macro by Kris. My Mum couldn't have known: the K-mount wasn't invented when I was born!

Very jealous Kris. My loss is your gain - unfortunately had to pass on it. Cannot wait to see what you get out of it.

The M 35/2 is one of my favourite manual lenses and I've read the K variant is even better. I hope you enjoy using it.

Thanks all. Used it a bit yesterday on my MX. Sent the film off today. Looks like the hood is rarer than the lens! (although not as rare as the hood for the AF35-70).
