What a difference a three-quarters-of-an-hour makes

OK, not quite as catchy as the original. A couple of views of Horseshoe Halls from earlier this afternoon. The first one is when I was wondering whether I should take my coat back to the car, the second is when I was glad I hadn't.

I live only a few miles down the road, we returned from holiday through the rain from the south yet managed to unpack the car in the short respite between the rain ☺👍

I witnessed the same changeable weather - I hope you quickly realised that it never rains in the chain bridge hotel only a stone's through from the horseshoe falls 😀😂

We all seem to highly value the Weather Resistant feature of our gear, (at least it is very often cited as desirable on this and other Pentax forums), but I suspect the reality is that for most photographic situations we really would rather never have to rely on it ..... we would much prefer it if we needed 'Sun Resistance' !

I was hoping to walk from there to the ruined Abbey while my sister stayed there to paint the view, but it came on too heavy too quickly. I did notice how wet the camera (Kx) got, but it doesn't seem to have suffered from it. I didn't try just nipping through the trees to the Chainbridge - I went back to the car to see if I could get a view through them to the station in time for the next train, but it was still quite heavy there.
