The brief is to show the place you'd like to be, rather than Lockdown. I have to say I was expecting lots of enticing locations, but so far there are only three.

Could be the moment to enter the competition guys, or we might conclude that actually everybody is pretty content in Lockdown and happy to stay there?

Be that as it may, entries will be welcome!
Best regards, John

It's hard to take a photo of somewhere you might want to be if you can't get there to take it! PU rules don't allow Box Brownie images!

You can use all of the archive you have John. I presume you've already been there! Pentax pictures only though, it's true.

PS I think I might choose somewhere in Scotland. perhaps the Isle of Skye, perhaps the Kingdom of Fife. Perhaps.....

This is from 1989, on The Avon near Christchurch, trotting for Barbel. Unable to do this now I so wish I could, very happy days. Camera on bank stick behind me on timer. Cannot even remember breed of camera.Comment Image

Thanks for sharing takuman. if you haven't already, this needs to be uploaded in the Competitions section - this forum is just for discussion.

Gp to the top of the page, select Gallery, then Competitions and click on the weekly competiton. Just follow the instructions from there.
Best regards, John

Thank you John for advice. I am afraid I cannot seem to upload a file to competition and also I cannot remember if the picture was taken with a Pentax, I had several different makes back then. Regards John

Just check the exif data on the original photo. It should show the camera make and model and the camera settings used to take it (assuming it was a digital camera.) Somehow the exif has been stripped out on that copy.

Have checked all exif and it shows N/A JAK. I am pretty sure I didn't buy a digital camera until 1992.

Having consulted with SWMBO I bought my first DSLR (K100D) in 1985 she thinks. It's still in my office!
