warranty question- sorry kind of long question
If you look in the latest edition of Amateur Photographer there are some very exciting Pentax offers, or maybe just give Chris at SRS a ring and see what he can do for you.
If you buy in the UK you will have somehwere to look to for help if anything is wrong with your new camera. I wouldn't like to have to return in the China.
Best regards, John
sorry whats srs?
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
what is srs?
SRS Microsystems - an excellent shop in Watford - they do a lot of sales on the internet. Chris is very knowledgeable about all matters Pentax and extremely helpful.

i was originally going to buy it from b&h as my fired is visiting NY for christmas, but they have not had any stock for them in ages now. So i then looked on ebay, i can get a k100d super for £266 with a few extras from china for just a few quid more then it is at b&h.
If i understand correctly i can get an international warranty by sending pentax a receipt. only problem is that they says its only if you are visiting the us.
"If you bought your PENTAX product in another country, and you are coming to the United States, we can send you an International Warranty Card to cover your product while you are within the United States. You will need to send us the following items:
1. A copy of your dated proof of purchase. 2.The serial number on your PENTAX product (if it has one). "
Does any one know how pentax deal with cameras bought over seas and how hard it will be to get a warranty. I did a search on google and someone said if i register the camera online then that should be enough for a warranty, is this true?
Thanks, and sorry for the long post.
