Warranty - 2 year or 1 year - how likely is it that a K20D will go wrong?

Elsewhere (Classified Ads - Wtd. K20D Plus Lenses) I pointed to a deal on the K20D that potentially resulted in a K20D body + 18-55 II for the same price as a body only, the differance being a 1 year Vs 2 year warranty.

The question is, how likely is it that a K20D will go wrong after a year? (I've been alarmed by the problems some of you report and the poor Customer service from Pentax!)

It's not just the second year though is it.
Who would you prefer to deal with if the camera went wrong after a couple of months, a pro dealer like SRS who, from what I can see bend over backwards to help out their customers .. or a chain like Currys (or whever the one year deal is with).

Thanks Mike. That's the way I'm thinking to be honest; just wondered if I was being too risk averse!

Maybe we are but then its just a pleasant surprise if nothing goes wrong but knowing my luck with electrical equipment I would take the 2 year warranty
