Hi
May I suggest ebay. I purchased a set from a seller a couple of years ago for my Mx and Me.
Can't remember the profile name sorry but definitely worth a look.
I think the cost was about £10-12 pounds.
I hope this helps.

I did my own Light Seal repairs with sheet of foam costing 80 pence from 'Hobby Crafts' shop in Romford, Essex and cut very narrow strips for seals along film plane with a rotary trimmer I bought for £ 1 in my Camera Club auction -- then I needed some Lighter Fuel price £ 1 from Poundland Shop, Brentwood, a home-made 'straight edge' and couple of sharp blades so I could cut the mirror foam strip -- guessed the length and I have done all my Old Cameras with that kit !

Personally, I have always used Jon Goodman kits and have found they work really well.
The kits are very well thought out, you get everything pre-cut and there are different thicknesses and density foams for different places. You also get anything else that is needed, instruction & after sales service.
He is in USA but the kits come letter post and don't take long to arrive. Email him, [email protected] i believe.

I can never see MX kits on ebay, always others but not MX.
Thanks for the DIY method, I could do that if I was stuck as I have all the tools but I'll go for a kit as I have enough building and making things every day. As a money saver method I think photography is definitely the wrong hobby to be involved in for saving money
I'll email Jon.
Thank you and I just love the DOF preview on the MX and the Mirror Lock Up trick, I think it will take the ME Super's place as my landscape camera even if it is not pristine.

Jon's kit arrived for less than £10 within 5 days of asking and all the way from Texas!
It is fitted and is a great job.
Word of warning... the MX is difficult to service as there are 3 additional seals (in comparison to ME Super etc.) to remove and replace along both sides of the mirror. The guy I got it from tried it, bodged it and then gave me it along with a lens I bought as a throw in.

I picked up a decent MX recently for little money. Everything seems OK, even the meter seems to agree with my two other cameras.
The light seals could do with replacing so I am looking for a seal kit.
Cheers
