It is fairly well regarded. The one I would be interested in is the 125/2.5 APO-Lanthar 1:1 Macro. That is said to have a stunning performance and is about 40% of the cost of the new Zeiss 100/2 Macro.

Another thought. If you want one, I would hurry up. Mr K has stopped production of all the SL lenses to make room for the Zeiss range. Whether or not, he will increase the SLII range will depend largely on how the new 40 and 58 sell.

Anyone knows where to get one in Pentax mount? I'm still recovering from getting a 77mm Limited, but I think I could stretch for this one if I sell two or three items (one being my K 50mm 1.2).
