Vivitar AT-22 exte. tube with K-x

Hi

This might be old issue, but I didn't find any pictures on where I have to clean the paintig off from Vivitar AT-22 extension tube to get "stop-down" metering to work.

Now my tube works totally manually; I have to adjust shutter speed and aperture both manually and change them if picture is under/over exposed. Green buttom (Tv Shift) adjust the speed only according to full aperture.

You might have to do a bit of Googling for this one.
I think this thread link covers it, but the pics are missing.
It seems to be around Pin 7 on the lens that you need to
sand.

It doesn't matter where you sand, the mount itself is a contact which is why plastic mount lenses have an additional flat contact
