Viewing an image file in K-1, does it display every pixel?

The specs quote 1,036,800 dots for the LCD screen. Times that by 16 doesn't give you the 36.40 megapixels of the sensor, so surely it has to be down sampled.

Magnification is linear so, at 16x, the rear screen will show a sixteenth of the 7360x4912 pixel image in both length and width = 460x307 = 141220 pixels. The image LCD display has 345600 pixels so the image must be up-sampled, which explains why it looks softer at such high magnification. The 1:1 pixel view (aka 100%) is at a magnification of about 10.2x.
Cheers.

I didnt think it would end up being a simple question! Even though mathematically challenged, Philips analysis makes good sense to me.
I doubt though that there could be much practical point in such viewing on a camera LCD screen , even assuming good light conditions to see it clearly ....?

I was out in the Peak District yesterday with the K-1 and wanted to see (out in the field) whether there was a perceptible difference when using pixelshift. At the 16x magnification there didn't seem to be too much difference so I wondered whether the complete JPG was being shown on screen.
All the gear with no idea

When checking your picture for focus accuracy/sharpness immediately after taking it, you should use 100% view, no more. This is 10x on the K1. You can set the zoom control (rear wheel) to default to 10x with one click of the wheel via a custom setting.

When I view any file in-camera, does it show every pixel (at the 16x zoom setting) or is the image down-sampled for the screen?
Thank you.
