Tokina AT-X 150-500 lens

I've just acquired the above lens via eBay. Hell's teeth, what a huge lump! I haven't had a chance to test it out yet but if I'm ever photographing an elephant and it won't keep still I reckon I could use this lens to knock it unconscious. The first two man lens I've ever used. Just out of interest, has anyone had any experience with this lens? I bought it to take piccys of hairyplanes in the air.

Looking forward to seeing the results from this lens - just googled and it looks a beast!
