No it's not a prime nor is it the sought after Pro version either, but it is a relatively good value fixed aperture 80-200 for any one on a budget looking for a zoom in this range. and doesn't want to break the bank. Horses for courses or zooms for poor folk like you and me

I had this lens many years ago but it had the pka mount sharp stopped down but heavy
