The first shot for me, with a little tidying up. i.e just losing the OOF blob on the left and a crop to centralise perhaps

The composition on this one is better. I o prefer the lighter background, perhaps add some light to the bg to turn it grey

This shows that a scene can have potential and reworking it over and over again can get the results and how small changes massively change an image! Well done Barrie

PS - The original No.3 still life is exceptional if you ask me. The colour pop of the seperate items is superb, the collection of 3 items works well and the background has texture and shades of black. It certainly is an image I'd have been proud taking

Yes exactly. But the lighting is not working for me in this version. The original had a clarity about it that this is missing. I am not an expert on lighting these kind of shots which is why I suggested experimentation
