Seriously - a novel idea, I prefer the colour version. A suggestion if I may; a bit more saturation/ brightness to the rust with a darker background to make them really stand out? Just a thought,

Please don't think I'm being picky (again) but I think the choice of background may not be the best - to improve the contrast between subject and background a white or light grey material may be better
