We are fortunate to be able to stay in Brownsea Castle once a year (if we can get our booking in!) - It's owned by the National Trust but leased out to the John Lewis Partnership under an arrangement where they look after the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds and staff can stay for a few days.

Here are a few photos of the castle...

1. From the beach.

2. From the croquet lawn.

3. The well stocked bar.

4. View from the first floor.

5. Our favourite seats (that's my Wifes arm just visible )

6. To help enjoy the view.

7. Sandbanks properties (not the castle, but a view from it).

That's all Folks

Thanks Gareth - yes, stayed for 4 nights - didn't get spooked once (apart from the bloke in the red checked shirt)
