Technical question - just wondering if this was taken with an IR lens?

Not sure whether this was taken with a standard Pentax lens or a specialist one. I'd be interested in the many members of this site who are, as I have seen many a time, quite expert in answering technical questions such as this...

I'm not sure that seller is being fully transparent - I'd walk away from that deal if I were you

Karlo - can I borrow your coat, I can't see mine anywhere

Times like this you 'can't see the wood for the trees'...

John...i'd be only too pleased to lend you my coat...if I could find it..mine appears to have disappeared also...I suspect that heel wearing glasses (only just noticed him in LHS of image) might have strolled in whilst we were distracted and run off with it.

If I see him again he'll get a big boot up the backside from me.

It's a leaked photo from development of the next generation of Pentax lens coatings. To complement WR lenses for all-weather use, Pentax is developing camouflage coating for wildlife photography. Still got a bit of work to do...

It could be, a mackintosh wearing flasher with the new coatings.
Pentax have a habit of not exactly revealing, about what there up to next
