I almost got one for £40 instead of the Pentax 50-200 but decided to wait. I am still waiting!
Cheers, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Don't hold your breath womble, searching jessops site for anything Pentax is a bit of a let down.
If they have a body or lens in your local shop I'd suggest making a reasonable offer, otherwise visit SRS.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...
PPG entries.

I don't think SRS will sell me one that cheap. I did get an email today saying it will be with me by the end of the week but I am not banking on it. As my 50-135 is off being repaired I am down to my SMC-M 200mm for telephoto capability or using the M42 stuff. I must buy an adaptor

Sorry to rub it in, but I was fortunate enough to get the Tamron 70-300 for £58 from my local Jessops. Ok it had been in the window, but was there with lens caps on and they found the box and hood - and it ain't bad at all!

I'm happy in a Tamron-related way this evening - just found my ancient and trusty Tamron 80-210/3.8-4 languishing in a shoe box in the wardrobe that's full of my "just in case" stuff. I loved that lens, saved my overtime money for months to buy it. Wrapped up with it was a couple more 35mm Flektogons (ten-a-penny in the 90s), another 135mm Sonnar (stunning lens), a Pentax-M 50/2 (damn, just bought one on ebay last week!), a Russian Flektogon copy (Mir-1 from late 50s) and the Industar 50/3.5 that I've been hunting high and low for.
It was a bit like rediscovering old friends
...so I have no excuse not to go and take some photos I 'spose

Unlike Womble I accepted the Tamron instead of the 50-200 as I had my suspicions that they may struggle getting the Pentax glass.
As they manually altered my order they forgot to charge for delivery, so I managed to get it for £38.93. Not a brilliant bit of glass but for under £40 it was well worth it.
I bought it to accompany the kit lens so that I can work out at which focal lengths I need to invest in. At the moment it looks as if my style is developing into favouring the wider range. So I may well sell it on sooner than I thought.

I've wrote in a topic as well,, but..
after 25 days waiting for the 50-200 pentax for £48 from jessops, i called the call center to know the delivery date, but i discovered that jessops doesnt sell any pentax items any more for contract problems.
i think whe are not going to recive any pentax lens from jessops.

I still have mine - a brilliant lens in its day. It does struggle getting a 'clean' image with extra flare, and seems to lack contrast.just found my ancient and trusty Tamron 80-210/3.8-4

More basic on mine. Part of the flange that holds the lens hood on has cracked and is dangling off. Minor cosmetic thing really but I thought I would get it done before the warranty runs out.womble wrote:

Can I ask what's wrong with yours Womble? Looks like the autofocus on my one has just failed !As my 50-135 is off being repaired.
