Taking a new to me lens out for a spin (A100/2.8 Macro)
Stuart..
Glad to see you're getting on well with the lens, I found it one of the most pleasurable lenses to use and the results are superb. IMO it is one lens that is "Green Star" quality in terms of IQ and build, but they forget to stamp the * on the barrel
Best
...great shots, and even better at the larger sizes on Flickr

Even higher res on Smugmug I use Flickr for the monthly use only one lens challenge on PF.
Its the focus action, fabulous to use in a macro type environment, a mm here or there and what you envisage pops to life.
You never mentioned it is a bit of a Diva with the OOF rendering - it will take me a year to figure out properly it's like a super high res A50/1.2 on one hand, shift the light a bit and it behaves like a drunken Helios.

In the Groove

I was sorely tempted by this when it came up. Sorry I didn't buy it now.
Good shooting.
