A very nice set, takes me back to my days in the RAF, lots of those Vulcans making a hell of a din, may be why I suffer with tinnitus now!
And I did work on 558 when it was active.

A very nice set. All well exposed and sharp. The only changes I would look to make would be to try and give a bit space in front of the jets. Give the perception they have somewhere to go.

Very good panning in No. 5. What-the-H is No. 13??? Uglier than a Fairey Gannet!
A few of my photographs in flickr.
Lizars 1910 "Challenge" quarter-plate camera; and some more recent stuff.

Thanks Gents.

@Loskeran - Hi Richard, good to hear from you again. Somehow I knew this subject (planes/Vulcan) will get your attention.

@Blythman - yes, tight framing is a habit after some uploads to screened airplane galleries, in fact sometimes I also like it like that, sometimes wider, but it is how perception changes when photographers vs plane spotters look at the picture .

@OldTaffy - Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey, it can rotate those rotors, so that it pretends to be prop plane (when horizontal) or heli (when vertical). Fairey Gannet - yes, ugly looking barrel .

Vulcan To The Sky Trust (that maintains and operates 558 ) say that it may very likely be the last year when she is flying (subject the same as every year - more money needed, this time much more for required structural work), but who knows, people around tend try to keep her flying, maybe they will get the money.

Some lovely shots in this set .. I do think you may have cropped too tight with a number though. Good work !

Nah, that's impossible

It's an Osprey VTOL contraption which keeps crashing link, unlike the Fairey Rotodyne which didn't.

They all are nice shots , but the ones that really stand out for me are 2, 14 and 15. I think they are stunning.

Wish I had been there.

I keep changing my mind as to which is my favourite

Nice shots
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
