Trying to keep my hands away from my wallet until the new HD DA 55-300 PLM WR appears here (any idea when this will arrive in the UK Chris?).

I know compared with other brands thses are probably good prices but still made my heart skip a beat and my eyes water

Inspecting my credit cards at the moment there is no way I can take advantage of the offer on the 150-450 at the moment, I've maxed them basically - let's hope similar deals are available during Black Friday...these are spectacular deals.

I bought this lens for the same price on the last special weekend so it's always worth waiting for.

I couldn't pass up the £550 saving on the 70-200, its arriving today

Just toting up the amount of money I've spent with SRS, scary !!! But they're fantastic as always.

I saw that and thought wow but as I have APS-C only and the marvellous 60-250, the time isn't right to get the 70-200.

I've had Nikon and Canon users comments about how lovely the DA* is...

Same here, I also have the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 OS but I very rarely use it as I prefer the 50-135mm due to the vast difference in weight. I also wonder how much better the Pentax could be over the Sigma.

I want all the DFA's ..lol But have been happy with the Sigma 24-70, and the Tamron 70-200, so 150-450 will do for this time.

Just an update on the promotion...

This finishes tomorrow night at 11.59pm.

We've completely run out of the HD 24-70, the HD 70-200 and the 77mm.

However, any orders for the out of stock lenses received before the end of the promotion will be at the sale price and won't be charged until the lenses are with us and ready for despatch.

I am led to believe that there may well be price rises soon as 90% of my suppliers have notified me that they have, or will be shortly, increasing prices due to the weakness of the pound. I must stress I don't know for certain that this will affect Ricoh , but currency fluctuations seem to be affecting most of my suppliers. Whilst we will, i'm sure, offer promotions again, it might be the case that the 'starting' price may well be higher in the first place meaning prices may well not be this low again.
