Whelmed I am happy for you. I hope you get to enjoy your new K-5, and don't miss the lens too much .
Have fun!

Why is it that all the threads I start seem to end up like this? Sigh...
Anyways, loving the new camera, just hoping for a week where I'm not working 60+ hrs so that I can actually go out and take a few shots!!!

For a camera that's three generations later down the line, it should be.

He makes a reasonable point IMO. But what a bizarre way to make it, and in his first post as well. Whelmed isn't one of those members with an exhaustive equipment list including non Pentax, and even video and sound recording equipment that takes up the whole page on my phone (I mention no names! Grrr!) and Giofio was just making a jokey comment.

I don't even read signatures .

I personally am shocked by the distinct lack of detail in people's signatures.
For example, Whelmed's siggy 10-20 is far too vague for my liking.
I strongly suggest you update this so we can be sure whether this is the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM or the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM.
These things matter!

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and even if it's put in a somewhat aggressive way that's no reason to villify and be aggressively unpleasant in return. There's a point where this just becomes bullying and that is not allowed in this forum.
I'm now locking this thread, which had no need to turn the way it did.
