Yes, it is (very) wide-angle and the 20mm setting just overlaps the 18mm setting of the kit lens.
I've had mine for many years and I love it - brilliant bargain at just over £200 s/h.

I think this lens has been sold now. Where is a good place to get one please, and where can I see example shots? (Apart from firework one)
