If being pedantic one really needs to be accurate as well, especially when the evidence is right before our eyes

SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter

(deliberately ignoring case and font before anyone else gets clever)

Ha!
I really just want to sell it, it gets very little use with me and the cash will be going straight on this: http://thediscdjstore.com/product/DDJ1109/Native+Instruments+Maschine+MK2+White

I'm quite excited about it, already given my old laptop an upgrade and a new OS so it'll cope with it and chosen a new audio interface!!

I don't appreciate you implying I'm some sort of crook and attempting to sabotage my thread... I believe it to be quite unfair and genuinely mean...

You know what it's worth, if you want it make me a serious offer via PM or please don't bother piping up at all...

I'm not a bad bloke, and comments like that are simply bang out of order.

Yes... I got it for a bargain... I was bloody lucky at the time... I can assure you that my luck has not been anywhere near as good since...

Part of me wishes you the same good fortune someday.

But no... 80 is not a sufficient offer for this item.

The item: SMC Pentax-F 1.7X AF Adapter is priced at 240 - This price includes P&P via Royal Mail Special Delivery as part of that price. I have sold a few items on this forum and they have always been pleasant exchanges; thankfully with pleasant people with no problems whatsoever.

It's irrelevant what Dave paid for it and whilst this may have been said in jest, it didn't come across that way. All power to him that he managed to buy this for 50 - after all how many people do you see on Antiques Roadshow selling something later at cost that has been valued at five times that amount?

The 1.7x adaptor is worth what someone will pay for it and I'm sure someone will pay well over 200.

Best of luck with the sale Dave, I hope you get your full asking price.

Regards
David

Please stick to the buying/selling process in Classified Ads. We're not here to debate how much people paid for items they are selling, it's totally irrelevant.

Initially I was going to put it up at 270 but as I only actually need 240 (along with the other items I'm selling/have sold) for the hardware I'm saving for I decided not to be greedy!

This thread thanks to user dpm and his snide remark now feels sullied for me and I feel I'm left with little choice but to list on eBay...
As we are all aware the charges on eBay are extortionate and to make up for them I would have to list it at considerably higher than the 240 here... I'm both upset and angry.

As I said much earlier in the thread, the whole basis of these sales is one hobby funding another... I work part time only (and absolutely not out of choice might I add) and have to budget for petrol to go places to take photos... My second hobby allows me to stay home and not go mad (as I'm home a lot and sometimes it feels like I might)

I not even sure what my point is other than to let you know how angry I was/am when I saw that post.

Cheers.

Too late now Dave, but if I may make a suggestion just see who comes up yet with an offer. Somebody might. They can make up their own minds regarding what they read.

You may well feel angry, but best to just let it go and carry on?
Best regards, John
