Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately as far as I can see there are zero Sigma manual focus lenses listed at Photodo.

Ah, how about a Sigma lens forum if there is one? There's so much info on the web there must be some specialist out there with the stuff you need.
Happy hunting!
Happy hunting!

Look up Sigma User in a search engine. There is a forum similar to this pentax one dealing with all Sigma related gear. I have used it when considering sigma lenses in the past.

Thanks DaveM, I found a couple of Sigma forums but they were both kinda deserted. 50-100 threads in a couple of years etc. Doesn't look too promising

Hi Tim
Interesting story.
I started with my Dad's 60s S3 which I still have.
In 1983 I purchased a Super A from Hong Kong which I got rid off a little while ago. Stunning camera. The only lens I kept from that I had purchased circa 1984 .. Again Hong Kong. Rarely do you have a shop assistance mistake, particularly in HK back then. I asked for a Sigma 70-200 to look at. I was given what seemed a very different type of lens to anything I'd held before ... Very heavy with a solid leather case and fast.
I loved it and was surprised to see it being sold for circa £150-200.
I purchased the lens.
On returning to the UK, I went to the London camera show. At a Pentax stand I met a rep that expressed some surprise (the lens was on my SuperA around my neck. He asked me first if it was a series III. I showed him then lens. He told me that it wasn't supposed to be available in the UK and in a few months when released it was expected to be sold at >£500.
Left me very happy. The HK guy had handed me the wrong lens.
It is stunning. I used a lot on the K10d and wouldn't get rid of it. Images very sharp ...
Did you ever get one yourself.
Paul

Fun story Paul although the thread is five years old! Welcome to the fora. K.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Try Pentax forums 3rd party lenses sub-forum for reviews.
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

I've also found a pic of it, but no reviews or anything like that.
