Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG APOMacro HSM II
I will just add, since i owned the lens for a few weeks, that i did not even notice the "spots", they are tiny and could be part of the coating. When Nick received the lens he advised me straight away and we discussed the different options as this seemed to affect him. We did some research and realised this is a common deffect on that model, that said it does not affect the pictures.
Anyway i dont want to hijack nick's post, but i can reassure the future buyer that this lens is a cracking, fully working lens.
I will also ship for free the box (in bad shape) of this lens (which i couldnt find when Nick's brother picked up the lens).

I have enjoyed playing with this, as it's an impressive piece of glass, but it was a bit of an impulse buy, and as a result I haven't used it as much as I thought. 80mm for me is just not as usable at the short end as I thought it would be. I had a budget and saw it as a rare opportunity to buy something worth that budget, rather than perhaps two cheaper lenses that would suit my style better. Now I want to sell it and buy something that's more 'me'.
Cosmetically the lens is in great condition. The barrel and glass appear perfect at first glance. There are however two issues which I want to be clear about.
Firstly, on receipt, I discovered that the lens has small marks just behind the front element. They're hard to make out, only apparent at certain angles and lighting conditions, and look a bit like bubbles in the glass. The seller suggested they are a manufacturing defect, and I didn't push the matter further as I'm confident they have no impact on photos.
Secondly, the AF switch is a bit fiddly. To function it has to be at the AF position, but not completely to the end of its travel. I would call this fiddly rather than faulty, as it's zero issue to use once you know about it.
I made a bit of a boo boo on the first four pictures below, and left the camera on ISO1600, which on a K-7 means they're pretty noisy. You can see less noisy photos of the exact same lens at the thread I bought it from.
You can see a gallery of larger versions of all photos here. The three photos taken using the lens I have posted at full humongous resolution.

Included in the sale are both caps, the hood, pouch and strap. I don't have the box.
I'm asking for £400 plus postage, which is the price I paid.
