Sigma 500mm F7.2 - Pentax fit

must be a really old type of lens but I have never seen mention of it before.

Has anyone ever come across this in a Pentax fit?
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

It bears some similarities to the Sigma 400 5.6 lens which they used to make. The latter came in both manual and AF versions. The later APO one was reportedly better than the no APO one, which I had for a while and which was a bit on the soft side.

Very interesting - and, as I said in the initial post, were any of them ever in a Pentax-compatible mount?

Just answered my own question:link

So the answer is "yes" - be interesting to get a sample to try!

Also it looks like the buyer on eBay got a bargin for less than 70 as most seem to be going for more than 250, and many others are going for huge numbers!
