Sigma 150 -500 os off to japan for repair.

I sent the above lens to sigma as it wouldnt autofocus properly. Kept hunting, and when it did "lock" focus, it was way out. I sent it in and they said it needed a new mr sensor. Theyve had it for 3 weeks, and ive just received a call that it is still "very soft", so the repair was not 100 percent successful. They are having to send it to Japan (at no extra cost to me) for further repair....said it had to go on some kind of projector to calibrate.
Downside is though, it will take 6 to 8 weeks.

It better be good when you get it back!

Same thing happened with my 50-500mm OS when I had it.

It took ages to come back.

Ages....how long?
