I do not believe that is possible. I think you can enable both AF button/shutter half press to provide autofocus (default setting) , or program the AF button to cancel the AF action of shutter half press. You cannot disable both in the menu.
To disable both you need to turn the body switch from AF-S/AF-C to M, but then you cannot use CIF as the AF has to be "alive" on the camera body for it to work.

CIF works with a manual focus lens, or an AF lens that has a AF/MF switch on the lens body. It wont work with an AF lens that does not have the switch.

have lens switch set to manual, shutter button half press set to OFF,camera set to AF-S, Aperture priority. AF button on enable. shutter triggers regardless of being out of focus, AF in cancel position situation the same. If i enable AF button and put an mf ext tube on lens hold AF button on and hold shutter release on CIF works. Did find an article on American site where the situation i have was found on some lenses and the cure was to blank off the data pin with a piece of foil.

Check that your camera AF setting is set to Focus Priority and not Release Priority
Check that you have enabled CIF in the menu.
I dont have your camera, but looking at a K5II manual online I cannot see how that is possible. The options are "Enable AF" .... both shutter half press and AF button will focus OR "Cancel AF"....... Pressing and holding the AF button will disable the shutter half press focus until the button is released.
Check that you have enabled CIF in the menu.

have had this problem before with Sigma lenses, 105 Macro and 50-150 f2.8. on a k5 , the iis and K3ii. Tamron Adaptall or any non af lens works as the book says.. It appears the data pin has to be blanked off or an mf ext tube fitted which does the same thing. There is a posting on the american site where users on that have had the same problem, certainly with Sigma.
