Showcase - Landscape Photography Magazine

I was quite chuffed today to find out I have made the 'Showcase' section on Landscape Photography Magazine with one of my images, see link below:

link

This is the one that made it:

Comment Image

It was shot with the K-5IIs and DA L 55-300. I've tried four submissions over the past 18 months and had two published so far, so not a bad percentage. Funnily enough, both of mine that have been published were taken with the 55-300 lens, unusual for landscape images.

It was taken in the Straits of Gibralter, the coastline is Southern Spain.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and congratulations.

Well done, very well deserved! Will the Pentax gear used get much of a plug in the mag?

Thanks very much Nigel. I doubt that Pentax will get noticed very much, if at all!! I suppose I could have mentioned it more in the write up for the image, but I never thought about this.

Lovely image, well done... am I allowed to suggest it's wonky?
