Brilliant! Just the sort of place I love to discover.
Best regards, John

Thanks John, yep there's nothing better than delving into the bit of the city they don't really want you to see, but it's these places that they were built up from and way more interesting than the town centre shops.

An excellent set. There's something about it that makes me think of the Full Monty . Nice to know that there are still parts of Sheffield that Mrs L would recognise (she grew up in the area, moved to the soft south before the steel works and coal mines were converted to shopping malls, housing estates and nature reserves).

The opening scenes of The Full Monty where some of the cast are on the roof of the car in the canal was where I was this morning, thatís why it may seem familiar.

Excellent series of 'reality' photos. I must get my son in law to take me on this walk.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

If you like industrial history it's a great place to visit, we started at the Victoria Quay but only did half of the trail, since the full loop to Meadowhall is quite a way especially if you're stopping to take photos. Going to do the second half in the coming weeks.
