Thanks Stuey - I was down your way on Saturday at the Racecourse Ground at the rugby match - but left my camera in the car

It's a shame you left it in the car
Having said that the light was awful on Saturday - after watching my son play football I tried to get to Chirk for a nosey poke at the rallying but couldn't get within three miles due to traffic

Just seen this Andrew, Wednesdays are best for me, maybe a Sunday night if you wanted less people in the shots. Cannot do this week or this weekend though.

Hi Drew
I would like to come with you, subject to date? If you can let me know when you're thinking of I'll do my best to come.
Regards
David

As with the proposed Peak District jaunt, Andrew, I'd love to do it... depending on time, work commitments etc etc. I didn't take many snaps of the city when I lived there, so it's probably time to recoup lost ground.

How are we all fixed for a week on Thursday 28th November, or as an alternative Thursday 3rd December - I think the Christmas Market will still be open too?
If the date suits, we can set meeting time(s) up once agreed.

The 28th might work for me - no work commitments that day - but the 3rd would be tricky.

Just a thought - but have you considered spending an afternoon/evening at Meadowhall? They'll have all the Christmas lights on by now.
A few of us from Oldham Camera Club spent about 5 hours at the Trafford Centre on Monday this week & had a great time. The Trafford Centre management team were extremely helpful and, to our surprise, seemed very keen on making sure we got the most out of the afternoon/evening..

I have noticed an increasing number of well lit subjects appearing, plus the Christmas lights are starting to appear too.
There are a few nice pubs for a warming pint too....
