Not much of a story, went for a walk down by the river and saw this guy having a whale of a time, he put on quite the show for me. I spent 25 mins or so taking shots of him and his crazy antics, he seemed to be trying to catch or eat the water, great craic to watch.
K1 + da* 300mm f4
The light changed wildly while shooting, so not all are as i'd prefer

You've managed to get truly original (as well as technically good) pictures of a dog. Not easy! Well done.

Do you know the owner? They would surely like to have a copy of pictures as good as this. The K1 + DA300 can put up with a bit of water so there's no excuse for not having checked whether their address was on a collar tag

Cheers guys, as ever, much appreciated.

Thanks for that Steve, I didn't know him, but I have been in touch via social media, he is delighted with the photos. I might even arrange to meet up some day and spend a bit of time with them.
The dog seems to love playing up, and his antics are quite funny, so it would be interesting to see if I could expand on these.
Not my usual topic / theme but I was smiling for the whole time I was shooting 👍👍👍

I'm sure you were. I was smiling at every shot. What a fun pooch!
