Thanks Ken, I need quite the lady luck to get these little ones, the goldfinches are proving to be quite tricky to catch.
I am certain that I aimed at the bird and my focus was on it but I think the it caught the brither spot, its just a fraction apart
Well, next time

This one was against the light, considering the postion and the distance I think it wasn't too bad, I was expecting an absolute disaster actually until I opened the file

I just wanted to show how these little dunnocks move so quickly, specially their heads
, I had my ISO already on the ceiling and got my SS at 90. That's quite a spin of the head

Absolutely right Shim,

It was still light, the sun shining from one of the sides. But cloudless, couldnt resist the temptation to snap it.
I will go and check if its still cloudless and may be take a couple more.
These were taken with the DA*300 and Tamron 1.4x TC

this is the closest I can come up with Mike.
Still not at your quality
The settings must be wrong, I lowered the ss a lot. Let me go have a look at one of the other ones I took earlier, there might be one with a faster shutter speed
